Department ethos:–
Indian WeddingThere are three enthusiastic RE teachers who inspire students to have a keen interest in religion, culture and to have an in depth appreciation of the world today and to understand the importance of religion in today's society.

Supporting the school’s specialism:-
We support the schools specialist arts status by having various relevant activities e.g. Hindu dance, Islamic art, stained glass windows and wedding role plays.

Links to outside agencies:-
Youth For Christ run a lunch time club at our school which involves a range of fun activities.

Kalai KaviriDepartment successes:-
All Yr 7s took part in a recent Indian Day which included dance and a wedding ceremony. Pupils study GCSE RE in Yr 9 and have their exam in Yr 10.
