Deadlines for AQA GCSE music examination 2009 and 2010

• Year 10 composition coursework

This is due in by the end of Year 10. Work should include a recording, score or annotation and brief, describing the event you have chosen.

• Year 10 performance recordings

In year 10 two practice recording sessions take place. You should prepare a SOLO piece to be recorded in the Spring Term and am ensemble to be recorded in the summer term.

• Year 11 composition coursework

Your final Special Event piece must be completed and handed in by October Half Term.

The Integrated Assignment begins at Christmas and must be completed by the Easter holidays of Year 11.

• Year 11 performance recordings

SOLO recordings take place in November of Year 11.

ENSEMBLE recordings take place in February of Year 11.
